Directly under the command of the Chief Engineer. It plays a critical role in the maintenance operation and repair of propulsion systems and machinery.
Responsibilities and tasks

Apply policies and measures to prevent environmental pollution and observe safety standards during each job.

Prepare and maintain a strict inventory control of the spare parts of the assigned equipment.

Coordinate with the Chief Engineer and carry out the Preventive Maintenance Plan of the equipment assigned under his responsibility.
Certifications and requirements

Licence updated.

IMO courses.

Valid medical certificate.

Advanced training for oil and chemical tanker cargo operation.
