Job description
The electrician is responsible to the Chief Engineer for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of the vessel´s electrical system, including all alternators/ generators, engines, wiring and distribution boards.
Responsibilities and tasks

Work closely with the Duty Engineer, consult technical matters and keep the Chief Engineer and the electrical supervisor informed.

Familiarize with the vessel´s electrical drawings, instruction manuals, test instruments and keep them in good condition.

Identify and solve electrical and electronic problems on board.
Certifications and requirements

Licence updated.

IMO courses.
-
Valid medical certificate.

Basic trainig for oil and chemical tanker cargo operation.
