Job description
The Chief Officer is the head of the Deck Department and, as such, responds to the Captain for the safe and efficient operation of the vessel. It has responsibility for the overall safety of the ship, crew and environmental protecion matters, under the supervision of the Captain.
Responsibilities and tasks

Comply with the orders, instructions of the Captain for the operation, proper maintenance and safety of the vessel.

Responsible for the load and stability of the ship.

Supports the company's Management System in terms of pollution prevention and implements relevant requirements.

In charge of loading and unloading operations.
Certifications and requirements

Licence updated.

IMO courses.

Valid medical certificate.

Advanced training for oil and chemical tanker cargo operation.
